Story
Built by storms
A rider's biography told in the sessions that changed the direction.
2005 / The start
Nine years old, wind everywhere
I was born on 22 July 2005 and grew up between Türkiye and Cyprus, where the wind decides your plans. I started kiteboarding at around nine and have now spent more than a decade on the water. From early on it was never recreational for me; it was about getting better every session.
Strong wind
Choosing altitude over everything
Instead of chasing tricks close to the water, I went up. Big air, megaloops, double loops and multi-rotation tricks became the whole focus: short lines, stronger wind, higher stakes. I have spent years riding above 40 knots, and 50+ knot days are where my style really works.
Competition
The international circuit
I compete internationally and ride the GKA Big Air World Tour, where I have reached Round 3. I have also been part of major Red Bull kiteboarding events and the international big air scene around King of the Air and the Megaloop Challenge. Performing on demand, in front of judges, in conditions nobody warms up in, is the part I enjoy most.
April 2026 / Cape Verde
62.9 metres, 111 seconds
In Cape Verde everything lined up: a measured jump height of 62.9 metres and 111 seconds of airtime, both recorded with the Wingman app. Two world records in one trip. It was not luck; it was years of reading wind and trusting a setup I had tested to its limit. These are milestones in a career that is still starting.
Media
Building the audience
Alongside riding I create content as @yucel_paralik, an audience of 119,602 followers in August 2026, with 77.4 million views in the last 30 days. It is not lifestyle content: huge jumps, megaloops, crashes, hard tricks, unusual conditions, training and the process behind big projects. Turkish media, including Habertürk, have covered my riding and records.
Next
One of the most recognisable riders in the world
The ambition is bigger than any single event: superloop and quadloop progression, further height and airtime records, King of the Air and the Megaloop Challenge at the highest level, and becoming a Red Bull athlete. I want to be known globally, not just regionally, and build a real international athlete brand around extreme kiteboarding.
